The CREHUD, Dominican University, Ibadan (DUI), Oyo State, Nigeria, www.dui.edu.ng, is a world-class research, human, and enterprise development centre, jointly owned by the DUI and the International Centre for Research and Enterprise Development (ICRED), UK. It aims to:
- Revolutionise global higher education, wealth creation, and training, using advanced multidisciplinary research and enterprise development know-how.
- Bridge the gap between theory and practice, by providing opportunities for lecturers, students, and professionals across academia, industry, and government, to work together and continually enhance their skills.
- Galvanise radical innovations in research, teaching, learning, assessments, consulting and community services.
- Profoundly enhance careers, human, research, and enterprise development.
- And maximise global peace, happiness, and prosperity.
Oselux Vision
The CREHUD is a spin-off from Oselux Global Education, a multidisciplinary ecosystem of digital platforms for fast-tracking innovations in Research, Integration of Knowledge, Applications, and Teaching, across the academia, industry, government, and wider society (the Quadruple Helix or Q-Helix for short) in Nigeria, Africa, and developing countries of the Global South.
The Oselux Global Education also trades as Oselux EdX, simply Oselux, and Afri-World Higher Education and Research Observatory UK.

Our Story:
CREHUD is a culmination of an abiding dream to ferment an educational philosophy that enables academics, students, and professionals to specialise in chosen disciplines and habitually apply their understandings in the real world entrepreneurially.
To go beyond theories and create wealth and research-informed companies, products and services, and alleviate problems of graduate employment in developing countries, for instance.
In 2005, recognising that this dream is somewhat contrarian to traditional higher educational practices that worship conventions, incremental research, and publications within specific disciplines, as opposed to radical innovations and creativity, which flow from multidisciplinary research and enterprise development, we set up the African Higher Education and Research Observatory (Afrihero) UK.
The aim was to further train African academics, students, and professionals on a Corporate-Academic Research and Enterprise Development (CARED) philosophy, which mirrors streetwise research-based enterprise development work in corporate campuses like Google, Apple, and Microsoft.
Hence, to capacitate African higher education to grow similar firms.
In 2017 Afrihero was extended to Worldhero 3E, also trading as the International Centre for Research and Enterprise Development (ICRED), UK, to support similar goals worldwide.
In line with this dream, 3E emphasises research, teaching and learning that enhance Entrepreneurship, Enterprise Development, and Employability skills. These are now extended to 7Es by adding Expertise, Experience, Emotional Intelligence, Engagement/Execution.
But all these are online, so the Dominican University, Ibadan (DUI), Oyo State, Nigeria, which deeply shares the same vision co-founded CREHUD with the ICRED in April 2018 as a blended face-to-face and e-learning outfit.

And to foster, together with the ICRED UK, the highest degree of 7E preparedness among academics, students, graduates, and start-ups in the world..
Mission:
- To help countries and private founders around the world to create world-class entrepreneurial universities, higher educational institutions, schools or faculties, institutes, academies, and specialist research consortia;
- To radically innovate global higher education research, teaching, learning, assessments, consulting, community services, with intense focus on: research-informed enterprise development; professional training and certifications; skills for students, graduates and start-ups (SSGS); apprenticeships, internships and mentoring; advanced fellowship programmes in key higher education disciplines; local and international conferences and workshops; and new academic and global publishing models that emphasise theoretical, technical and practical masteries;
- To achieve these missions through the deepest and most pervasive partnerships with academics, industry, and public service experts, not yet seen in the world.
