Dr Adegbola Ojo is Director of Teaching and Learning, Programme Leader for BA Geography, and Senior Lecturer in Urban Geography and Applications of Big Data at the University of Lincoln, UK.
His research interests include Census and Social Survey Research Practice; Geodemographics; Urban Geography; Space-time Dynamics of Human Population Mobility; Planning Support Systems for Crime Science and Intelligent Policing; Geographies of Health, Security and Development Studies; Big Data Analytics; Electoral and Political Geography; and African Development Studies.

He has accomplished important Africa-focused projects such as the Nigerian Geodemographic Classification System; Urban Crime in Nigeria: Trends, Costs and Policy Considerations; Development of a City Infrastructure Quality Index; and A Stand-alone Tool for Visual Analysis of Socio-spatial Disparities in the South-South Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria.
