Entrepreneurial Development
In traditional higher education, for example individual disciplines, research, teaching and learning are moored to basic constructs of the disciplines. The emphasis is on conventional understanding of the ideas with each learner striving to make incremental contributions to the field by expanding a bit on the current state of knowledge. This slow-burning approach to knowledge production accounts for why most countries in the Global South are still underdeveloped despite having erudite academics and hardworking professionals. In CREHUD we emphasise deep and whole-person entrepreneurial training which includes a mastery of 7Es of Education and Enterprise Development, namely multidisciplinary Expertise, intensive exposure to Experiences built on the expertise, Entrepreneurship theories, Enterprise Development, Employability, Emotional Intelligence and a wide range of soft skills which enable people to get ahead in their life-worlds, and mindful Engagement on and superior task Execution of target objectives and tasks. To glean the depth and power of this training, see more details in the ICRED Schools of 7E Education and Enterprise Development, Innovation and Creativity, for example, at iCRED.
